Many know John Entwistle as the bass player for the legendary rock band, THE WHO. However, John was also an excellent artist, and his most recognizable work can be seen on the cover of the album, "THE WHO BY NUMBERS."

AHAB ENTWISTLE was inspired by a series of drawings created by John titled "Ancestors." Each member of THE WHO was drawn by John to reflect a certain character John saw within them. John drew himself as "Ahab Entwistle," Roger Daltrey as "Wild Bill Daltrey," Pete Townsend as "Sherlock Townsend," and Keith Moon as "Long John Moon."
